Design Process
About the Project
| It is important to mention that this was my first UX/UI project, done for the government with a specific focus on the agricultural sector in Mexico. The challenge was considerable, as the main goal of the UI was to identify and address the usability needs specific to this sector.
Research and Analysis
| Methodology: I applied the Design Thinking process, which includes:
-| Empathize: I conducted a thorough analysis of the agricultural context, understanding the characteristics, processes, and problems faced by users in their daily work.
-| Define: I identified the specific needs of the users, focusing on how to improve their efficiency and solve concrete problems.
| Tools: I used Figma to create wireframes and prototypes, and Balsamiq to design user flows, adapting the solutions to the specific needs of the agricultural sector.
UI/UX Development
| Wireframes and Prototypes: These tools were crucial for visualizing and testing different solutions. I continuously refined the design based on feedback from real users, ensuring the interface was intuitive and easy to use.
| User-Centered Design: I implemented user-centered design principles to ensure that the interface met the needs of the agricultural sector and improved daily task efficiency.
Collaboration and Results
| Collaboration: I worked closely with the IT and marketing teams to integrate best practices and ensure a coherent and effective solution.
| Conclusions: My focus on process analysis and the application of usability practices ensured an effective solution that contributed to the development of the agricultural sector in the State of Mexico, providing an optimal user experience.
